What does a rear wiper mean
The rear windshield wiper is a wiper on the rear windshield of an automobile. It is used to scrape the rain off the rear windshield and clean the rear windshield to ensure a clear view of the rear of the vehicle. A vehicle with a rear wiper also has a wiper nozzle for cleaning the rear windshield. The rear wiper nozzle and the front wiper nozzle use the same reservoir. When using the rear wiper, try to avoid dry scraping. Since there is no water between the glass and the wiper, the friction resistance will increase, easily resulting in damage to the rubber wiper sheet and the wiper motor. Because the main material of the wiper blade is rubber, it will be aging and deformed in long-term use, and problems such as unclean or jitter will occur in the work, so it needs to be replaced regularly. Rear wipers are mainly available on SUVs, MPVS, and hatchbacks, and are rare on sedans. There are two reasons. For one thing, the empty aerodynamics mean that hatchbacks tend to get their rear windshields dirty more easily than sedans. But the rear windscreen of the car has a large Angle, and there will be air flow through at high speed. After installation wiper will increase resistance, wiper effect is not good.
